Chuck Vessey, the owner of C.D Fasteners, is a graduate of the Fort Collins public School sysem and Colorado State University. He has over 25 years of dedicated service to the fastener industry.

He began his career in the aerospace fastener industry as an engineer assisting aircraft manufacturing companies to apply advanced high fatigue systems. He was involved in the DC-10, 747, SST. and various military programs prior to his return to Fort Collins to open C.D Fasteners in 1972.

Since the 1970's the fastener business has grown from the hardware store to a controlled business. The passage of public law 101-592 has has mandated that in the future, fastener companies must take control. C.D Fasteners has been in the forefront with the development of an in-house lab and traceability of fasteners by lot. Chuck remains active in C.D Fasteners as well as the ASTM F-16 Committee on fasteners. C.D Fasteners will remain the leader in assurance of quality fasteners.
